if its a straight swap then there is hardly any work involved at all, unfortunately this is a rather unique conversion and as such we are learning as we go

a month or two back i lent a hand in converting a 1996 STi RA into a 1996 LX wagon.. drove in NA on friday, drove out turbo on monday. when you do a year:year conversion everything fits... as for putting a 2006 motor into a 1993 shell with a 1996 loom, a 2006 loom, a 2003 ecu etc.. it becomes a bit of a headache

but its fun , what total weight are u aiming for Mattus? You getting any braces welded in / harness bar? Also i notice the cusco braces that run at the foot well in rear seats, why not do a diy job :P. Shame no more handbrake up foot to the floor action when its awd

The cost of an OEM changeover is normally around $400 but in this case you would also need to have the variable cam and drive by wire upgrades enabled which cost $330 and $380 respectively.
If you are local and keen to go ahead with an OEM installation on your car let me know and I can make some arrangements with a dealer for you to get one of the pre production units. Full release would be expected in November.
If you have any further questions feel free to call or email.

Pity I'm not farkin local to Victoria or i'd be in there like a shot. This also means anyone waiting for a MoTeC for their Liberty Tune By STI will be waiting too
