all right so here is the pics from the last few trips
the original loom in all its glory slicing and splicing nourishment spread out, labeling and chopping dodgy factory Subaru join, twisted! All that yellow stuff? air bag wiring, dont need it attempting to be arty excess shit removed so then we headed down to the workshop and started removing stuff from the GX.. out came the exhaust... heat sheilding my IKEA mudflaps :P i started removing the centre console so i could get to the gear stick and the handbrake cable rear cross member and stuff out, only connected by the handbrake cables uh... centre console out, seats out, carpet rolled forward.. and finally i can disconnect the handbrake cables Hi my names rob and i love the cock stock FWD fuel tank FWD fueltank next to the RA 4WD tank mmm beer getting ready to drop the GX motor undo a few bolts, and out she pops virgin transmission tunnel! note all the shit on the left hand side where a CV has ripped open fitting the GC8 engine mounts to the BP5 motor how it should be!... after about an hour of fucking around trying to get the mounts lined up to the cross member... we realised we had the fuckers on backwards =( and there she is, BP5 motor bolted to GC8 engine mounts, GC8 crossmember & gearbox mount, bolts straight in we're fitting everything up to make sure it fits, then get a baseline tune on it. when thats good we'll rip it all out again, attack the chassis with a high pressure hose and start modding. next to go in is the JDM quick rack, tailshaft, diffs etc. Still chasing a 2006 JDM Legacy wiring diagram tho :/
