I've got a better idea: don't spend dick on your 'in between car' and get a wrx sooner

Welcome mate! Enjoy the forum. I wouldn't spend to much on this car, wait for a year or 2 until you can afford a WRX.

I used to live in Hocking on Lotherton way.

Yeah, after the cruise last night, ive come to the conclusion that my car isnt nearly fast enough lol

to answer adrenelins question... Couldnt get a wrx because couldnt get a loan big enough with a decent interest rate and insurance would have slaughtered me. plus with the terms of my loan 16k, with a 9% interest rate... the car had to be newer than 5yrs. couldnt pick up a wrx for that money in that bracket of moneys. that and with i refuse to pay a buttload on insurance.

plus i cant afford to spend money on it. im on an apprentice wage im earnin barly enough to run the car lol.
Im happy with it....just needs some slight adjustments to make it a bit better

Hey what trade are you doing an apprenticship in? i started out like you. Im nearly qualified, but it was really hard when i earnt $6.20 a hour still kept my subaru though. Your rs should be able to get up and go well though.
I used to take mine out on the track and it did quite well, and would mostly keep up with wrx's, just not on the straights. They are a great car to learn how to really drive in though.
