Default Hey People In WRXland, Can i come play?

Hey, Im Master D. I've just turned 21, decided to dump my first car a 1990 ford falcon and upgrade. i wanted a rex but this was as close as ive got:
A 2002 Subaru Impreza Rs2.5. So not quite a rex but close enough for me. im stoked about the car. Just lookin to start gettin out there and get involved in the perth car scene. im an absolute novice with cars so i'd like to learn for you cool cats in WRX land.

Hi and welcome. I used to have a rs the same as yours and silver, though it was a little slow compared to my old gc8 RX (pre 1997 with ej20e) and didnt want to rev enough for me (didnt feel right sitting around 5000 to revlimit all day ) , still they are a lovely car, and far safer than a gc8.

Hey, cheers. Yeah ive had a few excursions around that sorta rpm. it scares the crap outta me. i havent really gotten used to it quite yet. ive only had it for 8 days. greatest 8 days of driving so far. nearly done 1000kms already.

howcome it scares you? High revs are the best thing. More the better. should be quicker than your falcon, though the rs's are a bit slow at overtaking, due to lack of high rpm power

The only reason it scares me is because its a buttload quicker than the falcon in every way and im not used to the car yet, but im glad, if i drove the falcon the way i have been drivin the subi through the corners, i would have been backwards in a tree lol. but i must admit, it has a much nicer note( even through the stock exhaust) than the ford did.

Hello and Welcome to WRX Land. Where the people have 10w-40 motor oil in their veins and fairys all drive Cordias and get thrashed all day.

Get some WRX 17s and lower it and it will look phat.

Stick a unconnected FMIC behind the front bar and make people think you have a sleeper.
