mods are a pain in the ass ahah made some enquiries about getting it lowered (untill i can get coilovers) and no one makes springs for it atm king springs have something in the works even subaru havent got a factory kit out yet, tein coilovers are apparently in developement according to xspeed, and yeh theres bugger all parts around for it at this point HKS do intake and an TBE exhaust and catback with is way over priced at 3300 and 1100 bucks, and yeh bout all i found thus far.

Hate to say it, but have a read on NASIOC, the US guys seem to have parts available, so if you want to do things to it right now, you'll have to order from the states it would seem ..

welcome aboard mate and we look forward to seeing some pics and hearing how the mods go. Tuning options maybe a bit limited for MY08 canbus ecu at the moment but pretty sure that ecutek should have their flash for this soon if not already. Lowering betty is a must imo but dont buy something that is not engineered for this particular car. Whiteline springs might worth checking out as an option too.

hahaha I went through the same thing with the Pig.

Bit of advice is wait until something is specifically made for it, don't buy something that you are told will fit but is not exactly right for the 08. It worth the wait trust me!

in the new motor mag there is an article at the back about the 08 wrx, not a bad read...... tiny bit from the article: a guy traded his old rex in for an 08 but returned it after 58km, yes just 58km, he enjoyed driving it but couldnt stand to look at it!! ha ha, i noticed your sig thats why it made me think of it!!

yeh pretty happy was appauled with it at 1st but after a week or so of being around them looking at different cars i actually really dont mind the hatch, infact prefer it to what ive seen of the sedan they have in the states, HOWEVER i want to take a baseball bat to the taillights!! ruin the whole car make it appear cheap and just tacky.
