welcome, i recon you are the first person here with an 08wrx.. congrat's.

get the first service (1500km) done at subaru, then take it elsewhere after that. Find a specialist workshop you are happy with and use them for all your servicing/mods. (ie: RMS, ASG, MMS, RT or even Bluestar for service only)

Warranty, pfft.. just get a zaust, filter, choon and enjoy!
