Better than the fact they look good - the lower rim weight has transformed the OEM suspension. I actually rate the Bilstien's OK rather than annoying now.

Smile Dixcel Type M pads

Just thought I'd throw out my initial opinion on the Dixcel Type M pads I just installed in the OEM 2 pot front brakes on the OEM rotors. Previously on the OEM pads. It's chalk n cheese. Initial bite is exceptional and the braking process is much better - confidence building. No squealing at all. The oem pads feel like sponges in comparison.

Previously had used Bendix Ultimate, Ferodo DS2500 on my previous Liberty. The Dixcel's feel much better than either one.

Would throughly recommend based on my initial day to day driving. Well see how they take the cruise.

Only got 35000 out of the OEM pads - expecting more from the Dixcel. $240 Cost.

From my experience with brakes, the better you stop, the faster you wear pads and rotors.

Next time try out the ACRE Super Fighter pads Andrew, they are $190
for Brembo's so your spec ones will be a lot cheaper.

You can get them from VisionR which is not far from you at all and I
think you will be a very happy chappy indeed!

I heart mine, awesome stopping bite, low dust and no squealing.

Wanyo , mate I gave Vision R a ring. Asked what they had, they needed to check . . . I'm sure they'll get back to me . . .

In the end, Dave swears by them, gave our east coast seller (Infront Performance) a call. Delivered pre-payment for speed of delivery due to cruise. Postage cost was 4 times what was quoted but no questions - just sent. Honoured his word - Can't ask for much more.

You ought to know Wayne - service in business is everything.

VIN # - for a bolt

LOL

Haha yeah Troy from Prospeed is good when he remembers to send stuff LOL,
paid for my Dixcel HT FCR front rotors and waited a week but nothing then
contacted him and was told "sorry I forgot to send them".

So I got them a week later but the price was very good and would have no
problems buying stuff from him again.

Wasn't Troy - Was the "Phatman" being Michael May - Infront Performance Parts (Sydney).

Brilliant supplier of Liberty parts - he made my down pipe. Excellent source of information considering he fabricates for the Liberty's and sources many products from Japan.
