Have ordered some new rims. Going the OEM styling just wider with a set of Silver 18 x 8 Enkeis from Sti Japan.

Now just have to figure out which new rubber I should put on them. Current size is 215/45 R18 - thinking I want to go to 225 rather than 235.

Anyone with any suggestions or issues I may come across?

do the 235, they are cheaper

Why did you go with the silver as opposed to the darker gunmetal wheel out of interest?

Availability in the end Jimmy. The fact that the rims were 8" v 7.5 was the sealer for me. I was chasing "gunmetal" over "silver" but in the end the silver suited the "stealth" look more than the gunmetal anyway. Regardless, I can always powder coat or paint later.

BUT they're 8" JDM Sti NOT some half arsed AUDM 7.5" like some other "foreign" sounding guys around these parts - Eh Dave

They were also very well priced at over $1500 less for four rims than any other 7.5" new price I had seen. BRAND NEW.
