Just brought up the emu cause I had a mate doing some work at the Alice and nailed two emus on the trip home a few years back. One went straight under and the other ripped drivers mirror clean off. His boss still doesn't believe his version of events, but he's still sticking to his version of what happened lol.

On his way back from the Alice? Or across the 'bor? Two very different stretches of land.

I don't think I'll do the drive. Cairns to Perth would be great if I had the time.

It will take me about a week to a week and a half to do. So I think I'll end up puttimg it on the truck.

The reason why I said Adelaide to Perth is because I was supposed to drive with a mate to Adelaide then on my own to Perth.

I think I'll go with CEVA. By the sounds of it they do a very respectable job.

Welcome mate, very nice car indeed!

Ceva is the go! I got my S204 over from QLD last year and it was
only $1300 for an fully enclosed delivery and didnt take that long really.

One thing though, take detailed pics of the car before it leaves as
they will always try and get out of paying for any damage even if
it not on the original 2min inspection sheet.

Welcome aboard. One other thing you might want to check out... what as far as mods and the likes is actually legal here in WA, as we're a bit backwards compared to the rules of the road and what you can and can't do to your car compared to over east.

Welcome mate, you're gonna love it out here
Nice ride, sounds like it'll be a bit of a weapon.
I studied at UWA too (Eng/Comm), what will you be doing?

WA is the best place to be for mods IMO

I'm actually doing co-institutional study so I'll be attending the subjects I need to complete the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science I've started at JCU Cairns. Most of the subjects will be from the health science bachelor that UWA offer.

Mate, I can't wait to get over there. It will be the first time in 18yrs that I have moved out of Cairns. Well overdue move.

I've had a quick look at the mods specs allowed for WA and QLD and they seem very similar. I'm not worried anyway because the car will be road legal (once it gets on the road ).
