i don't believe in rust proofing...unless you live at the beach than yes. I bought a 4wd last year and first thing i did (since we do a lot of beach/fishing trips) was to take it down to my local 4wd store and ask them to put some rust proofing (fish oil) underneath the car. The owner being totally honest laughed at me and showed me his car, an 80 series cruiser which never had the stuff applied on. He reckons, only a hose down after a drive and you'll be fine. Otherwise the sand will stick to the fishing oil...

Rust proofing works great on mining cars as these are exposed to that sort of enviroment.

Cooljarloo is their sand mine, Kwinana is where they make the Ti02 (titanium dioxide)

NEWS FLASH - this thread is going ON topic.

Well got to see the Betty last night. Got to drive from 85.3 to 86.9 Km on the clock.

Not quite a Liberty but damn they're fast. Was amazed at how much room they have. The WRXs are not quite the "smaller sibling" any more. Looking forward to when it's run in - then I'll be able to truly flog it

Congrats to Lad for getting a WRX before his dementia sets in
