Haven’t got them yet, should they? Im guessing yes, would be concerned if not. Don’t want shit in there. Have you had a bad experience? Yeah rob, will be there bright and early tomorrow, started removing last week but had to shoot off. So will complete sat / Sunday morning

No I was looking at getting a set but the feed back I got is they need rebuilding every 6 months to 1 year due the pistons rusting.

Interesting, I did a quick check on my calipers the pistons are stainless which would tend to corrode rather than rust, could be due to the makeup of particular brake fluids that are causing the corrosion. Also did see that they don’t come with dust caps. Could get interesting. but thanks for the heads up,

ok some pretty good progress on saturday
pulled out the rear end, fuel tank and did the final tidy up on the front 2 drivers side doors, removed roof liner, sun roof and tried to get remaining sound deadening off with dry ice. i have taken the dry ice as far as it can go at the moment need to do a final clean up with either a wire wheel or maybe a high pressure cleaner. i did the initial trim for the rear doors, and decided to go the basic method of using wire to open the doors with a static door handle for closing. not long till brakes, suspension arrive. after that will be a painless wiring kit, fuel cell, then the almightly engine and gear box. i will be going ahead with the widebody kit shown in my 1st post, leading me to order some ccw rims in 17 x 8.5 & 17 x 10 to fit some serious rubber at the same time i order the body kit i will be getting all the tubes for the complete weld in cage from the same company - just awaiting on certificates showing conformance to CAMS steel specs prior to ordering - but at US$350 its a steal. last month i had no idea when i would complete this thing, now it all seems to be comming together - cant wait http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/picture....pictureid=2000
