Hi & welcome.

I'd be rethinking that td06 buddy or finding yourself a workshop & getting their opinion before you spend a cent on buying parts you can't use safely on your current motor.

Your going to need a decent fuel pump, a better intercooler & an ecu at a minimum before considering a TD06..... Even then your fun will be fairly short lived with a stock 11 year old motor.

is you 2000 a classic shape or Bugeye Wrx?

What are you planning to do to it before fitting the td06?

What td06 do you have?

Welcome mate, if you have those modifications in mind I'd suggest buying all your parts and when you're in a situation to be able to put them in do it all in one hit as most involve the engine being out.

There's going to be a fair chunk of change involved in those mods.

Well said Tristan, get use to your car, figure out what you want to improve, figure out a budget and find out what modifications you can do to get it there.
