Hmm....
I wonder how this person managed to pull it off.. My 99 Sti Coupe Modifications Logbook - Rexnet Subaru Forums - Page 2 see pic 1/2 way down the page...after the diy CAI post His explanation of how the strut bar fits Page 4 second post down.. He claims it clearsbut hits ever so slightly during driving.. comments anyone?

V7-V9 (01-07) intercoolers are smaller than the V10 (08+) intercooler. I've said it twice already. Old mate that you have linked to has fit a V7-9 cooler. Maybe you should just do exactly what he has done, as you know that will work.
