Thanks chaps.

Be keen to hear some MY11/12 exhaust systems at the cruise this weekend, was thinking Invidia catback to start with (yes for wank value, realise theres bugger all performance gain) but have heard they are a bit raspy, I want a nice boxer rumble but nothing too offensive! I want quad tips too.

Welcome Ben. Nice ride! The bronze will suit very nicely! And once the car settles back down after being jacked up, it doesn't look that bad...

I got my exhaust through Maximum Mortorsports, I got the quad tips installed. I dont find it to loud and the misses and kids dont mind it either. If you change your exhaust you will need a retune as well.

The only negative I found with the Invidia exhaust is that if you then go the matching dump pipe (to get a full turbo back), you have to change over the steering knuckle to an STi version to avoid it fouling the exhaust because it is designed for the LHD US market. Moot point if you get an exhaust shop to fit up a custom dump pipe and cat to the existing system though. For me it was a fiddly extra cost and extra time I couldn't be arsed with when I had other options available that fit without issue.

Just something to ponder.
