Yes, very good. After 4000rpm.

My daily driven wrx runs an unopened ej207 with cosworth 272 cams, FMIC, a TD06-20g and motec. It really is too laggy to be fun. Sure, it makes 350hp atw... but why? I can't use it. I've broken every speed limit in the country by the time I hit boost in third gear.

You have a good turbo for a street driven car. If I was you, Id do:
Coilovers
strut brace
sway bars
H-brace
anti-lift kit

Good pads and fluid

Then,
fuel pump
injectors
headers
silicon intake
3" exhaust from the turbo back with a good dump pipe
Install and tune Power FC
mARC, GTB Liberty, ausyve and 1 others like this.

I love how you come onto Perth-Wrx, whinging that the Version 6 STI that you own is slow and shitty (which, if you know what you are doing they are most definitely not..). And how much better your Skyline was......

THEN, you proceed not to listen to a word that the people on the site are saying when they know a heck of a lot more about the STI than you obviously do.

THEN, you whinge that we aren't helping you???

My 2 cents is either listen to what people are saying, or go and speak to a tuner (aka Sean at ASG), OR sell your STI to someone who will appreciate it more than you and go back and buy a Skyline.....

And just to remind you, this was post # 5 on your thread (now up to post #63). If you want bang for your buck and 200KW atw, then start paying attention instead of ignoring good advice:

Why? Sounds to me like you have a FMIC (probably has eleventy billion metres of piping) and have not had a tune to accommodate said changes. YOU DONT NEED A FMIC UNLESS CHASING BIG NUMBERS

Plan of attack?
Buy a good TMIC either an 03,04,04 STI one, or a process west one. $400 for a STI TMIC or about $900 for a Brand new process west one with splitter etc
Fit the Power FC
Get a Walbro fuel pump ($120ish)
Get it tuned (at say ASG for about $400)

Total cost? less than 2K (plus you can sell the FMIC)

Enjoy about 180 - 200kw at the wheel depending on how much boost you smash in.

Ok so I'll take it to Sean ASG and throw the PFC in it and tuned and see how we go
