Default Oils ain't oils

Hey everybody
This has prob been discussed plenty but I'm new and just did an oil change I have 07 liberty gtb turbo just clocked 5000 ks since a forged rebuild and runs a 3in xforce exhaust with twin 7inch cannons has rediculous front mount and runs 15psi built and tuned by mms . They used a10w60 after the run in faze bout 6months ago in summer and I just serviced and used the same but think the engine is a bit noisy(possibly paranoid ). is this too thick maybe I shoulda used a 5w40 , any input would be great
Cheers

SEARCH. There are about a dozen threads about oil already.

I use Total Fully Synthetic Quartz Racing 10W50, but everyone will tell you something different anyway.

Welcome Matt.
Jono's old car I take it?
Any reputable brand fully synthetic 5W40 or 10W50 would be ideal. However, you have a fairly tough built motor, you'd be best check with your tuner/engine builder to see what they recommend.
