Hey guys and girls I will get some pics up soon but if some one can give me a little advice it would be appreciated. Is it wise to put a turbo timer on a MY 11 (rexy) WRX??

Short answer, no.
If you do decide to regardless, find out what your insurer has to say on the matter before preceeding.

Id avoid it, i always just drove the rex calmly for the last minute or 2 on the way to desired location. Plus, turbo timers can stuff with your brant i thought.....and when you have brant problems, you have big problems

The turbo is predominantly water cooled, so it will continue to run coolant through even after the engine is shut off to cool it down. Save your money and petrol and dont bother with a turbo timer. Go buy a front lip or something.

They were for the older style oil cooled turbos, you had to leave the engine running to maintain oil flow to cool down the turbo.

Geez Soksta, bit Harsh.

But I do agree, if the 2011 STI didnt have the wide body and sedan, I wouldnt have got one, but they look so good and mean. My 2c.
Wide body all the way, this is coming from a person who also has a wide body..
