It does not seem to work as the main relay and fuel relay are activated by the ecu. But not sire what this box is as I cannot find the plug config in the wiring diagram...

Quick google search of the part number lead me to this: | :: Subaru

Unit assy AT Cont

I would say that is your auto trans ecu. Engine ecu is under the panel below passenger front footwell.

GX... Why did you not point that out to me earlier... bugger.

Its taken me nearly 5 days of searching as all the wiring diagrams did not match up as an Engine ECU to that trans ECU. LOL Feel like a real bone head as I paged to the front of the manual and there it pointed out the location of the engine ecu. Guess manuals were made for idiots. hehe

So. Now that I am familiar with all the locations of everything... Its time to start continuity tests as I am getting no power to the main relay and fuel relays. They both work cause if I hard wire them they do what they supposed to do BUT also kicks in the immobilizer. Which I hope is a good thing at this point cause I know now the immo works.

This is where I am...

Check the main Engine fuse under the bonnet, in the box near the water bottle it's the one closest to the radiator from memory and held in with 2 screws, I've bought a couple of shitters and this was the first problem I had to fix. Also the fuel system is usually hooked up to the alarm so if those wires were cut it's not going to work.

Drivers seat looks pretty tidy so possibly not a lot of K's on the speedo.

These may help ????

Thanks Pimpreza

Have raided those site already. :-)

Yeah. Interior is mint. Apart from the wires.

Checked that main fuse. Seems all good as the rest of the car lights up.
It looks as if they have put a different immo, key set for the doors and ign.

The motor turns over without starting. No spark and fuel. even though all the electrics check out. So now trying to find out how to test things in and out of the ECU. So one of 2 things... ECU shot or immo does not match to the ECU.

Key must match the transponder ECM. It will be a small black box attached to or near the steering column. It may be made by Siemens or Mitsubishi. I have a spare ignition barrel, key and ECM if you need it to test with but will need to check which one you need.

Try depressing the brake peddle before you hit the key.

even some of the manuals you need to clutch it before starting, take Tom JNR's for example
