Honestly, id put Yokohama s drives on.

I've used those, federal 595 superstreets, nexen 6000's.

There is a reason there is a sizible difference in price between the 3. Hands down, for me, s drives everyday.
Check out the tyre thread on here.

Don't buy bitchin rims, then skimp on cheap rubber. They are what makes your car stay on the road.
TROLLEY, nick73 and thehowlfactor like this.

Thanks for the input, most of my driving is on the Tonkin so decent rubber is a must.

All those horror stories are quite some time ago and from the US, not here. I'd bet my left testicle than the ROTA's that have busted while driving had previously seen some pot holes, curbs and track day "offs" before letting go on the driver.

+1 on ROTA and Yokohama S-Drives.

Didn't Shannon have a Rotor destroy itself last year on her Evo?

New rims just arrived - Rota Gravel 18 x 8. Getting fitted with Yokokama S Drives tomorrow. Thanks to all for the tyre advice.

Have also ordered a front lip from Ultrex, plus I am thinking about having a cat back exhaust installed when its serviced in September.
