Honestly, id put Yokohama s drives on.

I've used those, federal 595 superstreets, nexen 6000's.

There is a reason there is a sizible difference in price between the 3. Hands down, for me, s drives everyday.

Don't buy bitchin rims, then skimp on cheap rubber. They are what makes your car stay on the road.

Thanks for the input, most of my driving is on the Tonkin so decent rubber is a must.

All those horror stories are quite some time ago and from the US, not here. I'd bet my left testicle than the ROTA's that have busted while driving had previously seen some pot holes, curbs and track day "offs" before letting go on the driver.
