Equal length for GC8
Hi there guys
Just joined your forum I am a rare person that's not really fussed on the boxer sound but love the performance gain of equal. I have researched this to death and not many people in Aus sell equal headers for the GC8 single scroll. Unequal there heaps, apparently equal not as popular (suppliers say due to customers prefer scooby noise but I also thinks it's due to the oil pan issue too). (1) does anybody know where I can get some for around 500 - 600 delivered that's not too much rubbish ???? (2) With the 2.5 STI oil pan needed do I just use a wrecked model or do I buy a moroso or another aftermarket pan. If so which brand guarantees to fit equal. Thanks heaps

You're really not that rare a person, as a fair number of people run EL for the sake of twin scrolling, myself included. Having got Kando EL headers myself and very happy with them, I'd recommend you look them up on eBay. Not sure if they have them for single scroll though.

any 2.5l oil pan will work guaranteed fit, no pissing about , aslong as its got the indent, you will also need the pick up and cradle not to mention dip stick and tube aswell.
as pervious people have said, no really reason going el unless your prepaid to go twin scroll. save for a tune instead
