I’m a Vic WRX club member just moved over to WA, although the car has been here before when my cousin owned it. The car will be on the way here in the next couple of weeks because it’s currently undergoing a rebuild.

2003 WRX with the following major mods
• EJ257 semi closed deck
• AVO 500 being changed to a AVO 550 with the rebuild
• CP Pistons
• Manley H beam
• 11mm oil pump
• BC 274/278 cams (going in with this rebuild)
• BC Valves, springs and retainers to suit
• Upgraded fuel system with 700cc injectors going to 1000cc with rebuild
• Motec M800 ECU – changed from ECUTEK
• Hyperflow TMIC
• PPG box with straight/helical gear set
• 180 amp alternator
ICE
• Rockford 0 gauge wiring kit
• Rockford 2 farad cap
• Rockford T600-4
• Rockford T1500-1
• 2 Rockford T1 10” Subs
• Focal front splits
• Focal rears

Dyno Before Rebuild

280KW is pretty good power! I had an AVO450 and that was laggy, an AVO550 must only make power for the last 2000RPM before redline :P

The bodykit and wheels are an acquired taste. That aside it looks like a nice clean, well looked after car.

No it's not a daily driver

Unfortunately I don't think it will be here in time for racewars however I look forward to coming along on some cruises when it get here.

I like the body kit so it's going to stay (each to their own I guess)

Also any recommendations for a good MOTEC tuner to retune after the new engine is run in would be greatly appreciated
