Hi All,

After years of being involved with the other type of flat fours (vws) I decided to celebrate my mid life crisis by buying one of my favourite cars of all time. I've wanted a WRX ever since seeing them airborne, usually with Colin McRae at the helm, in the WRC.

An opportunity came up to buy a nice clean 2002 from a mate. It came from Darwin via Adelaide and now is my daily here in Perth. While it's no sti or fire breathing monster (I'm a bit past that now) I love driving it every day and it's renewed my enthusiasm in winding country roads (it's something you don't get much from in a 80hp Volkswagen)

Certainly love driving it, although I seem to get a large number of 'wanna race?' looks from P-Platers

totally normal mate. I drive a bugeye as well and I get that look from p-platers all the time. it is quite funny actually, when they look like they want to race me in their Camry or Magna.
