Here's some pics (if it works )...... sorry Trolley pretty Standard (except for the 'Cannon', which I don't like. Prefer an oval, hence why I want to get a TBE.)

Would you guys avoid Evolution R ? didn't really want to spend the $1,700 or so I was quoted for Ecutek. Seems a bit steep too me or is this what you pay for a tune?

There are people here who stay away from Mao like the plague and there are people who stick with Mao becuase they have had bad experience from ASG.
I suggest you draw your own conclusions after you have spoken to the tuners themselves.

Most people's cars here started out stock, including mine. Post pics of it stock, and if you end up keeping it long term, stay a long term member and mod your car then everyone gets to see it evolve

In regards to tuners, just don't choose with your wallet. Go there, have a chat to them and get a feel for the people involved. Also do a search for both workshops on the forum and take note of the types of problems forum members have encountered. Obviously take note of the positive stories also.

I've dealt with both, I find Mao very polite in person and no offence to all star garage but they do seem a little lacking in customer service but in my experience are anything but and have tuned my last 2 cars. Mms I hear are good but I have had no experience with them. As trolley said it's important to not make the dollar figure now scare you away, saving a couple hundred now may cost you more in the future.

No prob, thanks guys.

Have dealt with MMS several times (for servicing & they also installed a HD clutch) I found Dean, Neil & the crew very friendly & have had no issues, they recommended 'Ecutek' & other than the price I didn't have any issue, but I have seen 'Ecutek' get a bashing on the forum in the past.

I'll have to have a chat with a few workshops & prob go with who I feel the most comfortable with.

cheers for your input.
