When the evo brakes we all look at it and go umm.
A Subaru Wrx or sti are like a brown cow , there in every paddock. There for easy to get parts, do up grades.

Have a look at this exhaust, there are better youtube vids put there so have a look.

I don't think the have a AU dump pipe. My mate Brett has the invider q300 tb and it sounds quite different to my MRT turbo back. Gorden has the norm buttler unit. This covers most of the market so next meet up you can get some ideas of the different sounds. IMO Brett's is the best as you can get off the throttle and it almost sounds silent. When you really step on the gas it's just alive. The titanium tips on the invider unit also look the goods and stand out nicely on white.

No science, they were on it when I got the car.

Thanks mate i've checked out plenty of youtube clips for exhaust sound, the invidia certainly sounds like the best one of the lot, but i'm just worried it might be a tad loud. Ah well, one way or another i'll have to bite the bullet and make a decision, I simply cannot have a stock exhaust, that's blasphemy.

You have to really step on the throttle to make the invider loud. I think with a cat in it would be better. Back in the day they did not have a cat fitted. The quality is extremely good

Now it seems I just have to decide which to buy :S

Empire performance: Build quality looks fine, over half the price of the invidia also.

Or

Invidia q300: Don't really need to say anything about this one.

Shit, actually no, I hadn't even considered that. But both not TI, so they will be quite similar i'd assume.

Also, I feel like my clutch may be on its way out soon, any recommendations?

Exedy OEM Replacement Clutch Subaru STI 2004-2015 FJK1000 at RallySportDirect.com

Seems like a pretty solid option in my eyes, am I on the right track?

Hmm, can't decide if I should be patient for the first time in my life and wait for a used set of spec r stock wheels to be up for sale, or just go out and buy something else this weekend. :/

For your clutch Jarrod at Vision R is the AU Comp clutch agent. Try there for a stage two or stage 3 kit
