Has it had a tune? Usually a tune helps a touch with fuel economy but it really depends on your journey to and from work. I do a lot of stop/start, so my economy is fairly shithouse. Oh, obviously dependent upon your right foot's behaviour out of corners also.

All of my tunes have resulted in higher fuel economy than stock tune.

I've found minimal fuel economy difference between stock tune and a tune for mods. The only negative in economy I've found comes from all the extra boosting you do once you've got a tune due to how much fun it is

Meh lowering springs in a wrx is about as basic as it gets, wouldn't sweat it at all.
Welcome and enjoy your stay! using the Perth-WRX mobile app

Yepppp my right foot combined with a tune probably won't make the best difference in fuel economy
But then again, who the hell buys a WRX for the fuel economy?! Smiles per gallon over miles for gallon 🏽 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mine is worse since tuning for local stop/start stuff, but much, much better on long straight drives and going down south, etc.
