Welcome Scott
Enjoy your driving the WRX
Plenty of info about the forum and then research on what are good solid mods for your car
Off course if that is what you want to do

Thats the dilema I have at the moment; I quite like it stock, nice and quiet and unnoticed, but still goes hard. Then the more I look around, the more tuning info and parts I find for these things.

Will drop the current sound system in next break, then just drive it around for a while and see what takes my fancy

Welcome Scott!

Enjoy your driving the WRX!

I agree with your approach, before you consider Mods, just drive it as it is for the moment and then in a few months think about what you feel its missing and then consider changes.

Mine is stock except for the head unit which I changed really just to get Bluetooth handsfree calling for the phone.

Looks very clean, and there is something I find very appealing about a stock WRX.

Those old alpine head units were made to a super high quality, and you don't get them like that any more. It's a shame that they lack some of the features of the modern units like Bluetooth hands free and streaming, USB input and visual eq. to name a few, but the sound is something else!

Congratulations on your purchase, and I hope your new vehicle puts many smiles on your face!

Cheers.

I do wish I had usb and bluetooth. I may get a newer deck later on after I get external signal processing. In the mean time i'll just rock it old skool with CD's
