Default Brake Pads GC8

Hi guys,

Hope everyone's well

Sorry for what may perhaps be a silly question or soenthing that has been discussed before...

I've got a 1999 GC8 WRX built date April 1999 to be exact, I recently purchased a DBA rotor disc front and rear the Gold HD series, I am wanting to get the brake pads upgraded too, I'm looking at the Project MU HC series pad and looking at getting them online, the guys at Spares Box first ask me for Vin and engine no which I gave to them but to ensure they are giving me the right pad, they ask whether it is a 4 Pot Front and 2 Pot rear or 1 pot rear?

My research all seems to point 4 pot front and 2 pot rear but I am just confused why they are still asking me that eventhough I've given them the vin and engine no? So I just don't wanna get it wrong I suppose.

Just wondering if there is anyway of checking, sorry I am very newbie in WRX.

One other question is whether I could get a nice caliper to go with that? And any suggestion on where to look? that's not gonna cost the earth

Otherwise I will be planning to use the standard caliper and paint them.

Thanks guys
