It's unlikely a week or 2 will become 4-8wks. My main beef is there was no communication with me- which makes me feel as if I don't matter- meanwhile I'm forking out about 6k for the work. I think investing in an AWD dyno would be a cost issue for him and most the work he does is for rwd cars so that wouldn't make sense. I think honestly it comes down to time management. Don't keep accepting more work if you're flat out already.

Hi guys,

Hope you're all well

Just thought as promised I'd update you on the situation, so my car was booked in and dropped them off to Justin on Monday end of day and they pretty much went straight onto it yesterday and today... all the parts are in... VF34, Fuel Rail, Fuel Pressure Regulator and the Surge Tanks, I was told everything should be fired up and running to,or row ready for tune... that's pretty impressive with time and very happy with that. The only issue is the Injector Dynamic ID1050x wouldn't fit, apparently it was for a later model WRX so we had to go with a set of Bosch that Justin's got in stock.... pretty bummed about that but can't return them now that it's been opened for test fit.

So yeah they are still brand new with warranty bought from Car Mods a month ago... if anyone's keen I'm happy to almost let it go kind of price as long as it's reasonable...

Will keep you guys updated with results.

At the moment it's done twoseventyeight Hp atw with twenty psi boost, hoping to achieve three hundred Hp atw and twenty one or twenty two boost would be nice hahaha.... do you guys think it's a reasonable expectation?

Sorry about the letters instead of no on figure... halfway typing my iPad is playing up and can't be bothered typing again

Anyways thanks again guys for all the inputs

It did 278awhp and running 20 PSI Boost.

The Only Change:
VF34
1000cc Injectors Top Feed Bosch
Fuel Rail Aeroflow
Fuel Pressure Regulator Aeromotive
Deatschwerk Fuel Surge Tank with Twin DW250IL Pump

And plus the fittings which will be Braided Stainless Steel (not sure if this makes any difference, just like the looks of it )

Call me Captain Obvious, but I don't think you're going to get much more out of it with a VF turbo, VF34 or any other VF.....

So you had Justin tune your car with a VF35. Then changed it to a VF34 and added some fuel mods. Made the exact same power before and after.

Maybe thats why he didnt want to tune your car before.

Yeah pretty much except we don't know yet what figure it will make... I didn't actually wanted to change except most people here said the injector wshould be upgraded as it is currently running at 97% duty cycle and the car surges hence why the surge tank but then I just took it further and thought why not go to a VF34 while I'm at it and get it tune at the same time.

Hahha hope that makes sense...

22 psi should see you crack 300. I wouldn't take a vf34 much past that though. In fact I'd probably get Justin to tail it off a bit at the top.

Sorry for the noob question but what do you mean by tail it off a bit at the top?
