If you run more than that then the MAP cant sense exactly what pressure you are running so it just means that whatever setting u have on the 18psi map line will be the line thats used.....

So someone like leigh at revlimit can tune it so that even though the link cant sense the extra boost the correct fuel and ign is running. it basically makes your 18psi section of the maps your FULL THROTTLE LOAD points.

My car was like this for ages. However I would advise u just cough up the money for the better map sensor and then get it retuned.

I take it from the overwhelming amount of replies to my question, that there's no negatives about the G3 so far then. I'll have nothing to worry about my car going in on Monday then, and be out again with it's new toy by end of the week...

Try 100kw in most cirumstances ive seen. Refer to several old wheels and motor tests for dyno figures too.

I would not recommend you get the Link 44s and run anti-lag with it. You loose too much resoultion in the fuel and ignition maps and it then cannot be tuned using PC-Link. Plus its a pain in the ass switching the car off/on to enable it. Rally cars only really.

Get the WRXLink G3 to run Anti-Lag. Its a far far better ECU.
