So does anyone here has any negative feedback about the Link G3 yet?

A quick question: after downloading the MY99 possumlink manual it says that if you plan on running more than 18psi, you will require a GM map sensor. Is this true or are any of you running 18psi or more with the standard pressure sensor?

If you run more than that then the MAP cant sense exactly what pressure you are running so it just means that whatever setting u have on the 18psi map line will be the line thats used.....
So someone like leigh at revlimit can tune it so that even though the link cant sense the extra boost the correct fuel and ign is running. it basically makes your 18psi section of the maps your FULL THROTTLE LOAD points. My car was like this for ages. However I would advise u just cough up the money for the better map sensor and then get it retuned.

prolly wont be any good to ya now, but i paid around $3300 for the G3 and tune. Quick question also, is it simple to enable antilag ? is it a matter of just getting the car tuned again? |
