Link G3 Switches
Hey guys, need a little bit of adivce, im very descriptive so be patient
As some of you might know with the link g3, you get 2 swtiches in your console. - Rotational Idle - Anti-Lag Was driving around with a mate today, we were at the lights and his hand (accidentally i hope) hit the anti-lag switch without me aware of it. so we started driving and the car was acting real funny until i noticed what had happend and immediately turned it off. I bought some missile switches today (pic below) and i want to replace the old switches since the missle once are a bit bigger. My switch only have 2 terminals instead of 6 (on-off switch) its a simple job and i just have to remove the old connecting terminals and solder new ones (have basic electronic skills) For each switch (on-off switch), there are two wires. from what i have gathered, this is the following way the switches are run: To activate rotational idle, the two wires must not be touching. To activate anti-lag, the two wires must touch. so due to this, and wanting both to be inactive at all times, i need to reverse one of the switches. Is this right? Also, i noticed that: For roational idle switch, the leads to the switch were connected by terminals and could easily be detached. for anti lag switch, the leads were soldered onto the switch. Any special reason? Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if im not clear in any part :P |
