Yesterday was an Autotest. Still a khana, but the patterns get pretty difficult to remember, especially once the red mist decends
At least it was for me Will still be only $20 or $25, but will have to put your entry in prior to the event. Entry form should be up later in the week.

Might look at giving the August one a go.
What are the car requirements to be able to enter? I would guess a fire extinguisher at least.

Basic safety checks are carried out at scrutineering.
I already have an extinguisher & all the other bit needed for the Speed Event Series, so I breeze through. You don't even need a helmet or long sleeves if you are in an enclosed car. There are some fairly rough and rusty bunkies who get out and enjoy it. Car doesn't need to be licensed. You can use slicks, but you might get classed in with the specials. Bit of a waste on good tyres. Better off using old tyres and have some fun lighting them up!

The link on the first page takes you to the WA Motorkhana website where you'll find suppregs for past events to download and have a look at (in terms of requirements) but you don't even need extinguishers or safety gear! It's all first/rev gear stuff. If it has wheels and can turn and stop safely, it's in Semi-slicks might put you in another class but since you guys are not in the championship then who cares about results! It's at AHG and that is so tight to get around the course! It makes it more impressive when anything other than a little Special get's a good time on some of them... If you have a CAMS licence then it's really only $20-$30 for the day. Can't go wrong.

Matt you'll get one or two courses (our of the 12 selected from 40 that they'll use) where you're required to reverse. Just don't do them - but you'll get the worst time +5sec.
Still, no biggie since it's all in fun. In fact, just make up your own course for something like that and go crazy
