Hey, I have the controlled roll on gravel down!

(This works the same in a WRX as it does in a Landcruiser, right?)

The roll is a little quicker but effectively the same

Any results? I ran out of beer so had to leave.

Seems like Lister had found form while I was there.

Highlights for me were the GT40. FKN mental noise and pace and commited driving. and Protos Lib. Fook me that thing looks impresssive when you get it off the line. Seems liek if your weekend track car doesnt have 500 at the treads you're nothing these days.

Julian in his GT40 was looking to go faster this round; a bit more commitment. Looks like he found some more pace based on what you've said. I haven't seen the results yet though.

And yes: you don't have much hope of being up the top of the results – even if you're the best driver there – without serious power. Power+setup+driver = win. The thing is, there are several drivers who have the car, talent and power – and it makes for a really close competition up the top.

LOL moment was the drift car's starts. He ate half the tyres with each one and on the last start he got it wrong into a corner. A corner with a concrete curb. He smashed the left rear but kept on driving like it didn't happen!

Haha. I wish. Sadly not qualified for that gig.

^^^ Yep the bar has certainly been raised in the last few years. The pointy end has got very pointy.

Time for a cossie 2.2 I think Steve.

Was just loitering near the start dulling the pain of not being out there with a few frothies didnt move around much. I am sure you can extract more go from yours. It looked good, but the seriously quick cars are epic off the line.

Was interesting doing one run in the complete darkness with headlights only. I overshot the end of the drag strip.

Hopefully get to see times soon, felt like I was doing quicker times in runs 3 and 4.

Want to see pics people!!!
