I have a stilo helmet to Peltor intercom adapter you are welcome to borrow.

They charge drug money for them.

the intercom sytem is a stilo... so we would need a Peltor helmet to stilo intercom adaptor.

^^^ That is what I have. Peltor helmet to Stilo intercom. We run Stilo in the car but the missus borrowed a Peltor in the early days.

I think Brendon has the same thing due to a co driver he had running a Peltor and his car runnign Stilo.

Mine is the other way. In the early days I had peltor intercoms and amp and then I bought a Stilo helmet.

Now I just run stilo stilo stilo!

Stilo seems to be a very popular choice.
If someone was wanting to purchase a helmet with no brand preference, would Stilo be the way to go in terms of 'future proofing'/being compatible with the most amount of people out there?

Definitely the way to go. Peltor stuff looks ancient compared to stilo and has not changed for 300 years. Looks very tacked on as opposed to the integrated stilo stuff.

Bell are still taking the high and mighty track only no need for comms route.

Anyone got a Stilo XL helmet I could try on my noggin?

Measurements say a XL might just fit, but I should be a XXL which doesn't exist. Stupid head!

Stilo is a good brand but only if it fits your head. Ie, I can't wear an OMP as I don't find them comfy. Arai helmets I find comfy.

I think Stilo and Arai are similar, as are OMP and Bell and Sparco aswell I think. Just different shape foam and shells.

I personally like the Stilos, their ear cups are noise cancelling and work extremely well; i like the integrated plug in the helmet rather than having a cable hanging down with a heavy plug halfway along. I also have the integrated drinks system in my carbon Stilo.

Steph had her heart set on a Stilo but she didn't like the fit. She now has 2 OMP helmets that she says fit her perfect.

Ignore brands, get what fits the best and is the comfiest.

And I know Blaise and Brendon have already said, but I have Stilo <-> Peltor adapters both ways if anyone needs one. I also have a WRC emergency headset which is essentially a plug, 2 speakers for the ears and a microphone.
