Not really via O'Brien Rd
http://www.targawest.com.au/Portals/...20Map%20v2.pdf From the main link above, heads up Toodyay Rd to Toodyay as a transport leg, other stages aren't near here, unless Bullsbrook is close to you.

People are sick of paying drug money for the event.

It's a shame you're not there this year Mark. Was 'the debacle' anything to do with a car that caught fire and still was classified as a finisher?
The organisers have asked that we do not chase cars this year, aparently some drivers reckoned we put them off. (most love being followed and filmed, but there's always a party pooper) |

Put off because you were going faster?

Silly entry fee and even sillier stages.
I accepted last year the multi runs and reverse runs over stages, on the grounds of late notice that Chittering pulled support. But not again. The organisors have had better than 18 months to come up with alternative roads. Instead the entry went up. Additionally, the debacle of last year was not a once off, so we'll take our bat and ball and go elsewhere. I wish all involved best wishes, but we'll go play somewhere else. ps. To set the record straight on the debacle, it has less to do with being classified as a finisher and more to do with allocated times. Both the saturday night and the sunday final stages. I accept that you can fail to complete a stage and still be classified a finisher, due to many different scenarios, but how you can fail to complete a stage and get allocated the fastest car time is beyond a joke.
