Beerens / parker have rolled their 2010 spec c. Havent seen it so cant comment on what it looks like. Hope they are ok.

Heaton / bobo rolled the evo x aswell. They are fine but it looks pretty ugly.

Mick steel in his evo 7 rs has rear diff issues so he is out.

Was really looking forward to malaga but i spose this is rallying...

Geez, sounds like a really bad day.

Sorry to the guys with mechanical issues and broken cars and hope the guys in the accidents are all ok.

Special thoughts to the 2 Chris's. Hope you guys are both ok and I hope the car isn't to badly damaged mate

SPEWING to hear about the accidents! Really sad for Beerens!

As for people posting about accidents.. what do you want people to say? "Wow he went round the corner fast"... Stop crying.

Chris and Chrispy managed to finish the day, looking for some repairs tonight before trying again tomorrow.

My old man and I were doing flying finish at this stage. The finish line is near the top of a hill and after the finish line it drops pretty steeply and turns right.

Most cars were on the brakes 100 meters from the finish line - he was not.

Haven't done targa west but did do targa south west and the repeated stages with deteriorating conditions caught me out. Maybe be catching some at TW? Clean corner on your first pass but covered in gravel from people cutting corners by your second pass?? I think targa tas gets more big offs in the dry than in the wet.

Best of luck for the final day.

PS. Sorry to hear about the transfer case Brendon. Mech fail is heartbreaking.

I dont think there are anymore than normal. The gravel hasnt been too bad. Jester has done a great a job of putting bollards on all the apex's of the corners so you cant cut the corners.

The gravel was worst on the zig zag but that was our best stage so we are not complaining....

There have been more mechanicals than normal i think.

There have also been a lot of penalties dished out for indescretions in speed zones, exceeding 200kph. If you ask me it is all to complicated and there has to be a better way.

Brendon
