Just been looking on Black Magic's site.
It appears they use RadCam. Specs are here...

Rotate it slightly and you can see no writing

Does the radcam have to be connected to the handheld? I just dont remember seeing a cable going from the back of the camera, but that could just be me and not noticing it.

I'm pretty sure I remembered seeing a cable coming out of the back of it and it did look very similar to that

Yes, it is cabled it runs back into the cabin where the cameraman operates the zoom and
pan functions from a handheld unit with a screen showing the picture.

Doug always has the camera operator in the car during the event.

Pics from Saturday (mainly) I've resisted including Franz parked in the street in Dougs' on Friday night, as it will be about elsewhere.









Racing tape holds it all together, including the CF look.
