Some more questions after reading the Supp Regs more carefully:

A first aid kit that complies with CAMS Regulations.
Where's the best place to buy one of these? Any motorsport shop? Do you guys just chuck them in the glove box or do they need to be properly mounted?

A fire extinguisher complying with NCR Schedule H Part 4(i), i.e. AS1841.5 2kg.
I'll check in the morning but i'm pretty sure i only have a 1kg Extinguisher...are they fussy on this? Do you guys run 1x 2kg or 2x 1kg?

Helmets and apparel complying with NCR Schedule D
With regard to apparel, is this regular long sleeves type stuff?

Reflective safety triangles.
Again, does this mean one safety triangle or more than one...? Also are these those things you put down on the road?

Lot's of dumb questions i know, but i like to be prepared.

Also doing this for the first time next month, St Johns don't appear to have a CAMS first aid kit, but you can find whats required in the CAMS rulebook. http://www.cams.com.au/en/Common/Bul...id%20Kits.ashx

I would say yes, either a 2kg or 2X1kgs, remeber they need to be tagged.

2 triangles the ones that go out onto the road.

Link is here for the different schedules, CAMS Online Manual of Motor Sport
So for apparel, I would expect its Tarmac spec, and state level so thats a suit to FIA 1986, if its multi club it would be a single layered suit.

Best to email Steph, the event secretary, as she appears to be the main contact provided in the sup regs, another good source would be Ivan at Go Gear as he scrutineers many events, and a possible source of whats required, as well as revolution race gear, Searles and a number of others on the web.

Either a 2kg or 2 x 1kg fire extinguishers will suffice, make sure they are tagged and are properly mounted. Best to buy first aid kit from go gear or revolution race gear. Safety triangles can be bought from supercheap autos or the like and blue triangles to mark your battery location can be made from a sheet of contact or again from go gear.

2kg of fire extinguisher (2x 1kg) which must be tagged within last 6 months, mounted in the cabin.
First Aid kit, can be just about any off the shelf kit. I have a St Johns one. Must be secured.
2x reflective triangles, also must be secured.
A codriver, must be secured.
Battery triangle.

Make sure all your lights front and rear (incl reverse) are working,
and that the battery is well secured and positive terminal is covered.

If you have harnesses make sure they are in date.
Had a couple during scrutineering the other night that were borderline.

No specific need for a racesuit. The usual full length pants, sleeves, closed in shoes and an approved helmet are required.
If you have a suit wear it, most who have them do.

Watchout for fence posts.

With regard to harnesses that need to be "in date". Cams said that they can be over date by a couple of years. On the phone so can't find it. Is that true?

So its a combination of a tarmac event for extinguishers, first aid kit and triangles, (all good stuff to have in an event like this anyway) and speedevent for clothing helmet etc, as an introduction to tarmac?

Is a harness compulsory at this event or will normal OEM seatbeats do?
