I had a great time. A big thumbs up to Mark for asking me to co-drive. Set his PB on the 2nd stage I believe.

Was a wonderful chance to dip my feet into competition events and looking forward to doing it again sometime.

Sadly there is no barge category but I don't think the barge suits rally sprint anyway.

At least you and Sam got out there for a taste of this style of event.
Better luck next time Tim! Its sucks but thats motorsport. At least you didnt hit anything solid. An oil leak is a easy fix by comparison.

Ill try make the next round to spectate

Loved the day, and plan to be back for next round in January. Agree, oil leak was a minor issue compared to what others have had happen.

Got home safe as well, we there was no extra smoke.

The day was just one of those days, planned to borrow a trailer, issues with its plug, then getting the car on the trailer due to the ramps. Fixed that then when the car was in the correct position ie in the wheel chocks, it was hitting the winch bar, and it looked like there was too much weight on the tow bar, the ute was very much tail down.

All first world problems I know, and a bit of sanding, filler and spray paint will fix the front bar. With all that out of the way, its onto the next event, with the semi slicks on instead of the road rubber, which happens to be our wedding anniversary.

Was a great even.... Till I had a fight with a curb...
Curb 1 me 0
1 broken wheel, 1 tyre, 1 fender, snapped front alloy control arm, bent steering arm
1 dms strut, and maybe a bent engine cross member.

Spewing dude! I hope you can get it together in time for the next round.

Here's a clip I made up trying to use multiple camera views from a couple of runs. Sorta successful...

Watch in HD for maximum ungayness.
