2009 was pretty bad. The entrance/exit of the football field that was used as Toodyay service park ended up being a mud pit. Was eventually moved to the new housing estate down the road.

I wouldn't worry about going up to Whiteman Park unless you're nearby. The Zig-Zag is good anywhere along its length but you need to walk in from the top. Kalamunda stage has a good spot where Aldersyde road intersects Mundaring Weir Rd. The weir road is closed so approach from the Bickley end of Aldersyde. You can park really close and get a good view.
