Media team would mean media car, this would get you to the top of the Zig Zag from the normal access route.

Remainder would depend on what your group is after, spectator points are easy to get to and your not stuck getting in early, good thing about how this is run, it doesn't matter if your there till last car, = Jim Richards.

Straight roads are for fast cars, twisty roads are for fast drivers. I have or am neither.

Thanks Chris, I will be in a media car, so access isn't an issue.
I will start going through my maps and think where is best.

Will depend on what your after, fast panning shots, slow hair pins, the maps and hand book, (part of the media pack) will tell you all, and google maps with street view could also help.

Every year we set up at least two cameras on the hairpins at the zig-zag and what we usually get is 70 cars slowly driving around on full lock, 5 cars doing 3 point turns, 2 failed handbrake turns and 2 good ones. (one of the good ones will be the fast sweeper 999 car)
Guys, if you want to get on the TV, get on the wand....!

Wand works well in car 45. Someone take a hose and bucket with 'em to the zig zags please.

Hyperthetical question. If someone was to gap the zigzag on their bike over one of the car competing;

1- would they get in alot of trouble?
2- would they get on TV?

We won the zig zag both times last year on the wand and you used the same footage both times!
