Whilst it make no difference to me I have a funny feeling they messed up the winners time

I cannot see how on one run he can pull 12 seconds out of a 2.2km stage...... then never do it again...or even get close.

Especially when cars are 10 seconds or so apart...

There were some interesting releases yesterday, Carl hard a good view of someone's front bumper as he came around off riverside drive for his second lap of the carpark...

Fair bit of carnage on the entry to the carpark too, both is the Sprint and Targa.

The city sprint was a great event, but why was steve jones in a gc8 when he normally drives an r35 or evo in the main event ?

The 1.22 was a stuff up and not the winning time at the trophy presentation.

Time for my rant

2nd year I have done this and yet again I think the running of this event sucks. Last year was poor with delays and lack of organisation but this year no one seemed to know what was going on who ever you asked. I was asking a number of officials, including the guys in the timing hut about the lack of times on the results page and no one could tell me anything about what the problem was.

Then I only got one clean run and never got any re runs. My first timed run was ok but on my second run they let out 4 cars instead of 3. So me being the first car out I found myself facing a golf gti they had just released as I turned off of Riverside Drive into Victoria Ave. Couldnt believe my eyes as I turned the corner and saw him coming towards me. Got it all on the Go Pro. When I went with the guy driving the Golf to complain all we got was them being defensive and stroppy. Didnt seem to give a shit about the possible consequences of what could have been. Just said it wont happen again. Would bloody hope not.

Then there was my 3rd run. I was behind a MK1 escort at the line so I called the stage controller over and said there is no way you can start me 10 seconds behind this guy he is way to slow. I had seen him run in the group before me on the last run and he was a long way behind the car before him. They said they would give me 20 secs and I said that would not be enough. That was all they were going to give me. I caught him on the second run through the car park. When I finally got back to the pits with all the traffic at one entry/exit point to the park (F#*KING STUPID) I went and found an official and asked for re run and even though there was a queue of cars around and onto Terrace Rd waiting to do re-runs they told me there wasnt enough time. I said I had plenty of time to tag onto the end of the queue and they still said no. So I said its basically "tough shit then" and he said yes.
