Install a TT. Go for it.
Best thing about turbo timers is that when you want to steal a car, the "vital" ignition wires are easy to find; all you need to do is just trace the wires from the Turbo Timer and there you have it. Exposed! Just something to think about - I've heard countless stories about peoples cars being boosted because the owners have made the theives job easier. Either way; if someone wants your car they're going to get it. But the whole idea is to try and make it as hard as possible. My 2c anyway.

its a waste of money, as the turbo' are water cooled aswell.
I guess ppl just want to be cool and let their cars run after they get out and turn off by themselves |

nah nothing like that. i just dont want my car off the road for god knows how long getting the turbo rebuilt + $$$ when a less than $100 gizmo thingymabob mightve protected it is all. but you are all right. i'll give it a miss and look at the other options (like staying in my comfy seat for a bit longer)

Waste of money as said above. As the Subaru factory turbos are water cooled as well, water still keeps circulating even after the engine is turned off.
The only time I ever use mine is after a full on track or sprint session when its 35+ degrees outside and I can't sit in the car any longer due to the heat. But then mine came with my alarm system as an integrated package. Wank value is about all for everyday street driving. J

Don't Subaru say that a cool down procedure is not necessary and that’s why it's not in their manual?
There is also something about the placement of oil lines, or water lines and the placement of tanks...apparently they're strategically placed to still flow with the remaining heat after the car is turned off. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
