Default Turbo Timer Integration

Hello everyone. As you can see by the pic i have an 02 STI. What I would like to know is are there any hassles with putting a turbo timer on given that i have the factory keypad alarm/immobiliser?

Turbo timers + Brant alarm system don't work well together. It has been done, but I don't think many people are able to hook them up.

If you want a turbo timer, you would be best to install a different alarm system to the factory one.

But you do not need a turbo timer, so do you want to go to all that expense for some bling and wasted fuel?

(P.s. I know TT's are useful in some applications, like after motorsport events )

I think it has been brought up on this Forum before, Posted that:

If Subaru thought there cars needed turbo timers, they would include them from factory.

If u want bling, spend the money on a good alarm with window roll up... one touch and up they go!! woooooh!

I think Turbo Timers were more necessary on Turbo's which were only oil cooled. I believe the ones in Soobies are Water + Oil, hence no need for the TT.
