Yer man, well if you want a loud car, go for it! Life is all about having fun and learning from doing stupid things (like having a super loud car ).

When i removed my cat it made it a lot louder and it popped and flamed a reasonable amount..

If you want loud, just go a straight through setup. No resonators or cats. Pat at Mettams mufflers in Morley did my stuff and he's happy to do what his customers want

I felt exactly the same way. just needed to be a bit louder than everyone elses, so i got a 4" dump to a 3.5" cat and 3.5" the rest of the way. Now i just love that noise. Only problem is it will come very close to your gearbox and gives you even less clearance under the car

Taking cat out will make the car sound more louder/angry when it comes on boost well thats what i found anyways!

I have 3inch turboback 1 small resonator in middle section, no cats and cannon!

I dont think its that loud its loud but nothing over the top sounds nice been pulled over and cops said nothing about it being to loud or anything so yeah maybe i was just lucky and had a good cop!

All 3 canaries on my car were due to loud exhaust. 3" TBE with a cannon muffler. B4 u go down the path of having loud exhaust consider this:
* everytime u give the car a bit of stick, ppl (especially cops) notice (I got 1 yellow while checking boost, another during spirited take off)
* u have to always check for cop cars while idling at lights and take off slowly (another yellow from police on bike while waiting for green light even when I nearly stalled it while taking off slowly)
* neighbours (yours or of ppl u are visiting) can complain when u start and park the car especially late at night (had a warning from the police that said next complaint will result in a yellow)
* car alarms get set off at work when I drive past almost at idle
* in-car drone kills good music
I was considering making it quiter as it was becoming a hassle, BUT I love the boxer sound. So got an in-muffler silencer instead, for the Super[loud]man to Clark Kent and back again choice, with just one bolt.
