forged internals injector's etc, properly setup 6-8k. You really are at the point of maximum return.

Yeah stock gearbox out the window for sure. With the gearbox comes a whole new drive train diffs etc. Need a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, FMIC, might want some water sprayers. Theres a fair bit to change when you start exceeding the 300HP threshold i think. New ECU maybe, tunes galore.

From memory, a stock gearbox can go to about 300-350HP from what i have read.

Well you have a good base damon. You've got FMIC, Injectors, PPG, ECU so a larger turbo would be OK but be prepared for a blown engine if winding up the boost.

You could install an EJ207 short motor for about $5,000 which has forged rods and pistons.

hmm interesting.... yeah im deff thinking....short motor + turbo....

whos got one for sale...MIGHT think about it if i can sell mine + turbo for a decent price?

There's probably 'better' turbo choices too. Think about a power target or a particular way you want the car to drive before choosing a turbo.
