Just incase anyone was interested, i was trialing the pe1820 still on the dyno day and had since decided against it and gone back the the vf35,

i'm sure people can see why .

jury is still out on what i upgrade the turbo to, anything else on the market has a lot to live up to to prove its worth in my opinion

Stace, it boggles me that the 20 put out lower numbers than the 35. Peak torque @ 4.5k & less power.. amazing.

Fitted Geoffs 800cc's & had it tuned this week. 340hp atw @ 24psi on the speedworks hub. Heading down on the 14th to see what time it'll run.

Slightly off topic (delete me mods) - but check out how smooth the dyno plots are which are on motecs tuned @ teh wok.

And its not the wok dyno in 'smooth mode' - aint no such thing ... look at a link tune on the wok dyno, or a partially-tuned car's plot

Here is my Motec tune, with my Forced Performance TD06.

For those who dont know what an FP TD06 is, it has a TD05H rear wheel, a ported 20G housing, and a TD06H front wheel and front cover, in combination with a large internal gate. Sounds like a truck turbo when it spools, and it has no less lag than my VF22, as the dyno chart shows.

No one has used one of these here before and it was a bit of an experiment, but it ended up paying off....VF22 spool with bigger top end, fitted my needs perfectly

The higher plot is with my FP TD06, and the lower one is my VF22. The TD06 made more power on less boost, and a HEAP more torque which you cant see on thet dyno chart....boost it around corners and the front scrambles for traction now.

it ran out of injectors, so I cant wait to get my injectors done and run 20 psi....I'm hoping it'll pick up another 10-15kw atw in combination with my headers and a silicon intake pipe

Dont know what that little peak is right at the top, but it was there when I had my Link tuned also!

Hate ta burst ya buble but my latest tune from AJ was as smooth as those motec charts for the power curve.

Ill get a copy next time im down there. I think cars that AJ tunes have smooth curves not just motec ones. LINK Pryde.

I had a sheet with my graph vs explicit which AJ did just to tease me... but it looks like the scale is out because my graph is only halfway up his lol.

LINK PRYDE .... all you motecers check out how smooth dat curve is. Smoothness is more to do with AJ tuning than motec vs everything else.

Anyone got any comments on the boost curve? ... looks to me like my turbo exhaust housing reaches its limit and then backpresssure builds up and boost drops.
