Default installing tacho

hello, does anyone know where i can tap the rpm signal from a 98 mirage?

researched on a few website saying this little blue connector near the passensger firewall, did that, except still no rpm reading. used a normal multimeter and only got a 12V and 15V if you rev.

thanks
