Default Noob questions on power mods

Hey guys I need to ask for your help with something!

I'm almost at the point where I've gathered up all the parts I want before doing a re-tune (probably will be Verso), and I'm trying to make sure that I don't overlook something that I'll regret not having bought (as I only want to do ONE re-tune).

The car is a stock MY03 WRX. The parts I have so far are:

VF28
STi 550cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Process West TMIC (includes silicon y-pipe and new splitter)
APS CAI
HiTech TBE (dump pipe to have splitter installed)
PSR silicon turbo inlet

My goal is to increase quickness - fast off the line, very good overall throttle response. I'm not worried about breaking 200kwatw, chasing massive dyno numbers. This is my daily driver and want her to be, well.... driveable.

From the list above - and given my goal re: power - do you see anything missing? Or, is there anything from that list that you think just isn't worth it?

Thanks heaps!

Nik

Gonna go ASG for the Verso, and to install all these bits as well.

Also meant to ask about the up-pipe. My understanding is that starting with MY03, the cat was removed from it. True? Worthwhile replacing either way?

you done everything you need to get as quick a spool as possible.

Maybe get some good time on a dyno to make to most of your mods.

Only other thing is a twinscroll conversion but probably a bit unnecessary for you.

And its not worth replacing the stock headers or uppipe when its under 200kw atw your after. Better flowing header will will only serve to reduce exhaust gas velocity which at this point would increase your turbo lag.

Everything you have listed, plus the Verso tune, will be perfect for what you're looking for.

You seem to have everything sorted - perhaps a IC waterspray kit would be good too.
