Mind you catalogues may be pushing this a bit at the same time.

On standard struts, i would go sti pinks if you can find them.

Mmm strange, I got my info from the Subaru Australia Website under the STI Performance parts link.
They do however list them as different part numbers than the catalogue.

Those part numbers are from the Subaru Jap Catalogue - not sure if there're subtle differences

Kings superlows are pretty decent, although makes it for a very stiff ride..feel every bump, but unsure if thats normal with a lowered car and unsure if any different springs would be the same

Thanks for the heads up

Yep I'm selling mine, cos I got coilovers going in. They drop the car approx 50mm, and I've found them to be VERY comfortable with the stock struts.

There is a reason for this. The front guard is larger than the rear to account for the wheels turning. Who the hell wants to hit the guard in a hard bumpy corner just for that "dumped" look?

Also to the OP. If you decide to go lower king lows (or equivalent other brand), be prepared to hit the bump stops a few times and if your shocks are fairly old, your car will handle like shit.

IMO you can't spend too much on lowering your car properly. Get some koni's to match or coilovers. Nothing funnier seeing a car bouncing around on lowering springs because they went the cheap route. You will only hate yourself later when you notice your car handles like poo on spirited drives.

I had a hatch, with Kings Super Lows all round, and I never ever scraped or hit the bump stops. Even with 3 adult male's in the back. Altho, this being said:

Super Lows on a GC* = super super lows on a GD*, so super lows on a GD* will never scrape unless u load up the back and go for a fang round a few tight corners... but it will depend on the condition of ur shock's
